ADULT BEGINNERS

This class is for students who are new to the sport – both guys and girls – from 14 years old and up. No sparring takes place in this group. Instead, the focus is on building technique, strength and fitness.

Students are welcome to stay in this class as long as they like. However, if the coaches and the student both feel they are ready to progress, they can be invited to move up to the fighter class. Students will need to bring boxing gloves and a bottle of water for class. Students can bring their own gloves or we have sets available through the club.

WOMEN-ONLY

The hugely popular women only Muay Thai fitness class is about introducing students to the training methods fighters use to get into shape – only without sparring or any other types of contact. The class is fun, friendly and high-paced. Expect to burn a lot of calories. Besides the coaches, the class is strictly women only.

Students will need to bring boxing gloves and a bottle of water for class. Students can bring their own gloves or we have sets available for sale. Class duration is one hour.

Women are also very much welcome to train in our adult beginner classes and fighter classes (for those with experience).

KIDS

All of our kids classes are suitable for beginners. We take students from age 6 up to 13 (older kids train among our adults in the beginner or women-only classes). There is no uniform requirement, but students do need some equipment. They require a gumshield, boxing gloves, shin pads and a groin guard in the case of boys. A full set of these can be bought through the club or students can bring their own bought elsewhere.

Classes are one hour in duration and students should bring a bottle of water to each class.

FIGHTERS

The fighter class is invitation only – for our competition team and those preparing to compete for the first time. This is where our professional and amateur fighters train so the standard is high and sessions are demanding.

Students need to bring sparring gear – 16oz gloves, shinpads, gum shield and a groin guard in the case of guys. Students who have trained in other disciplines other than Muay Thai are will need to start out with the beginners classes so that coaches can assess whether or not they can move into the advanced class early.
