Craig Nolan

Assistant Coach

Nolan has is one of the most well known fighters on the Irish Muay Thai scene. At 15, Nolan became one of the youngest Thaiboxers in Ireland to compete at A class pro level. In the years since, he has secured a string of highlight reel knockouts. Nolan has competed around the world, most notably winning by KO vs a Thai opponent on Max Muay Thai – Thailand's biggest televised Muay Thai promotion.

Cody Butler
Assistant Coach

Cody Butler is a professional Muay Thai fighter that has been competing for Jai Sua for three years. Cody, known as one of the Irish Muay Thai scene's brightest prospects, is known for his fast, elusive style and strong clinch game. Cody is the European WMO pro-am champion, securing gold for Ireland at an event in Cyprus last year.

Shane O'Toole
Assistant Coach

Shane O'Toole is one of the country's most accomplished amateur Thaiboxers. Unbeaten in a dozen fights at amateur level, Shane was crowned WMO World Champion after a gruelling three-fight win streak at the massive WMO World event in Bangkok in 2025. With heavy hands and dangerous long knees, he's proved too much for everyone he's been matched against to date. Shane is also an experience coach who has been training fighters at Jai Sua for over three years.

Des Brennan
Assistant Coach

In his short time on the Irish Muay Thai scene, Des Brennan has put in a string of eye-catching performances on some of the country's biggest Muay Thai events. Des mixes his aggressive, forward style with clever counters and crisp boxing. He showed his potential last year when competing at the WMO European finals in Cyprus last year, coming home with silver. He has also marked himself out as a talented coach, particularly with our junior team.

Mick

"Two months into training with Jai Sua Muay Thai and the weight is falling off me. Had trouble sticking with the gym, but this sport is addictive so I look forward to going. Training is tough, but it's for the most part self-paced so you don't feel in over your head.

TESTIMONIALS

John

" Coming from an MMA background, I wanted to try my hand at training in a pure stand-up martial art. Glad I did – it's a completely different level here. Learning a huge amount. The club has a huge team of fighters and a stack of pros, so whatever your level you'll improve by training with Rob and his lads.

Mary

"Taking the plunge and getting through the doors was the hard part – once I got started I immediately felt at home. The lads are all go out of their way to make you welcome. Should have done it years ago.
